Miami does happy hour seriously. You can drink on Biscayne Bay, eat $4 tacos behind a speakeasy door, or order anything on a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant's bar menu for $7.77. We picked 13 happy hours across the city and copied the specials straight from each venue's current menu, so the prices below are what you'll actually pay.
How we pick: each spot has to offer a real discount (not just a "bar menu"), be worth going to even at full price, and publish its specials somewhere we can check. We re-verify this list every quarter. If something has changed, let us know.
Brickell's happy hours are built for the after-work crowd. Most start at 3 or 4pm and are done by 7, and three of these are within a few minutes' walk of each other.

Wynwood & Midtown
Wynwood's happy hours skew casual and cheap. These three are all along North Miami Avenue and NE 1st Avenue, so you can easily walk between them.
Wynwood's sneaker-themed sports bar, with rare kicks on display, a Miami Vice-style patio and 70+ TVs. The happy hour is one of the best values in the neighborhood: $7 cocktails and bar bites starting at $5. Bring a Florida ID and the deals run an extra hour.
A craft beer bar in Midtown with a simple deal: money off every drink and a short list of bar bites under $9. Go for the spicy salmon crispy rice and the short rib slider, and sit at the bar, because that's where the happy hour pricing applies.
Drinks
$2 off craft beer
$3 off wine and craft cocktails
$4 off spirits (Grey Goose, Patrón, Bacardi, Maker's Mark, Tanqueray)
A retro Midtown cocktail lounge with a vintage Miami look, DJs later in the week, and some of the cheapest drinks on this list. The house project is a list of 100 classic cocktails at $10 each: ask a bartender to start you a card and they'll keep count as you work through it.
Chef Michael Schwartz's Latin American restaurant sits right on Biscayne Bay, and the happy hour lets you have the view without paying dinner prices.
